Asiff Hirji is an entrepreneur and business executive. He has served as President of blockchain-based financial technology company Figure Technologies since 2020. Previously he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and President and COO of online trading broker TD Ameritrade.

Asiff was born in Tanzania and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He received an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. After graduating from business school, Asiff became a founder of Mitchell Madison Group (a strategic consultancy focused on the financial services industry). He then served as president and CIO of Netfolio and vice president of consulting firm Bain & Company.

In 2003, Asiff became CIO of online broker TD Ameritrade and later served as president and COO. Beginning in 2013, Hirji was an adviser at venture capital firm Andreesen Horowitz, one of the early investors in Coinbase.

In 2017 Hirji was named president and Chief Operating Officer of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. Coinbase moved further into international markets and added products for institutional investors during his tenure. The company also acquired securities dealer Keystone Capital and launched an incubator for early-stage start-ups working on cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

In 2020, Hirji was named President of blockchain-based financial technology company Figure Technologies.
